One of my relatives had a big decade birthday party not long ago. My aunt who is married to the birthday boy was thinking of a different birthday idea then the over the hill party. She thought of having a surprise party at a central park. She told my uncle that it was just going to be the kids meeting at the park for a picnic. Little did my uncle know that the picnic spot would soon be inundated with friends and family. When he came to the park, it was just his kids and a picnic basket. About a 15 minutes later many of the guests showed up with the birthday party supplies, party decorations and tons of food. My uncle was so shocked to see his friends and family come marching toward his picnic table with birthday décor and a few gifts. It turned out to be a fantastic birthday idea and it was a surprise. How could you lose with having everyone dear to you celebrating your day on a picture perfect day outside.
