Whenever her birthday came around, the birthday theme and party decoration had something to do with pigs. One day when her husband was in a good mood, he told her she could get a little pot belly pig for a pet. What a mistake that was. The tiny little pig's name was Wilbur and while the woman she bought him from, promised he would stay small, that was not the case. Since my daughter worked, Wilbur was kept in the laundry room during the day. Pigs have a habit of rooting. He tore up all of the tile floor and then made a hole in the wall. House breaking was also a hopeless task and his litter box was a child's wading pool because it was the only thing she could think of that was big enough. On the morning of my daughter's 40th birthday she looked out of her window to see a lawn full of pigs. Her friends had gone online and found some birthday party supplies to fill the lawn. It really was the funniest thing I had ever seen.
