Our apartment is very slow at taking down decorations. We still have some of the Christmas trinkets hanging up amongst the streamers and 2010 party decorations hung for New Year’s Eve. Part of the problem is the one roommate who has the stockpile of Christmas decorations is not back yet so we don’t want to put it all away for her the wrong way. As for the party decorations, I don’t mind them at all. Every time I walk into the living room, it reminds me of the New Year. It is a pretty exciting time if you ask me. I love the start of a New Year because it is like a clean slate. All I have is goals and as far as I’m concerned they are all going to be accomplished come next December.
The only thing I am really worried about, if you can call it that, at the moment is Sunday football tomorrow. We are nearing the post season and that means the Super Bowl is looming. Another reason to go online and search for party decorations. My friend has already nominated his house for the Super Bowl party. I figure a nice way to help out is bring some of the party decorations so he can focus on the other stuff.
