My roommate has a younger brother who is ready and excited to have his 16th birthday roll around later in the month. Ever since the whole wizardly trend swept literature he has been enthralled in all of the magical world. This leaves a lot of room for awesome birthday themes. From what I have seen online, wizards, goblins and anything conjured from magic spells has a home in many of the party decoration storefronts. These are the kinds of birthday themes I miss.
I haven’t had a themed birthday party for probably a decade. For the past five years, the birthday usually means a night out on the town free of charge thanks to some wide smiling friends. It would be fantastic to have an actual birthday theme. Even something magical would be a lot of fun. I’m pretty jealous of the wizard party being thrown for my roommate’s brother. There are more then enough videos, books and pictures online to get ideas for this kind of birthday idea. It is only really limited to ones imagination which I think is why so many people love the world of magic and wizards.
