I have a birthday coming up at the early part of next month and everybody keeps asking me what birthday ideas that I have – I keep telling them all the same thing: I want to see the beach! Since I live in Phoenix, and we do not have any beaches here, that is what I plan on doing for my birthday idea this year. Towards the end of this month, the last weekend in February, I am getting in my car with my wife and driving out to Long Beach to stay at my brother’s house; which is but a few miles from the actual beach itself. I think that this is the best birthday idea that I have actually had in quite some time, in all honesty. I know that it will still be too cold to swim, but to just walk along the shores, check out the ocean and see all the sites, not to mention getting some time in with my brother, who I rarely see anymore, is the best birthday idea I can contrive; it will be almost like a little mini vacation just to see my brother on my special day!
