birthday theme, birthday idea My niece shares a birthday with my cat, and I decided that I'd host her  party this year and use a birthday theme of cats and kids. I should be able to find lots of paper goods and information about cats online from sites that are like encyclopedias and Internet retail stores. My niece adores my cats and is a vast repository for all kinds of information about animals (her first love), so I'll have to get more than just rudimentary information about cats for the birthday theme.

I think this year I'll get a cake from the bakery, take along a picture of my niece and my cat, and ask them to come up with cake decorations that celebrate both my cat and my niece's birthday, with the emphasis on my niece. Even though it's both their birthdays and the birthday theme is kids and cats, somehow I have a suspicion from the cat's expression here that he'd just as soon ignore the occasion. I don't expect him to make an appearance, but if he wants to share a birthday treat with us, I'll make sure he gets some fresh tuna. We, on the other hand, will have birthday cake and ice cream because tuna is not our birthday idea of yummy food.
