birthday party favor, birthday theme I'm throwing a birthday party for my husband and we've invited about 10 of his friends and coworkers. I chose a birthday theme of card games, so I'm giving out birthday party favors related to all the different card games like poker. I have a friend who works in a casino in Las Vegas and can get his hands on tons of used decks of cards and he sent me about a dozen decks, so that base is covered. I'm also giving out birthday party favors related to playing cards like cans of nuts, boxes of handmade crackers, small chunks of gourmet cheese, and last but not least, a few bottles of wine.

I have discovered that handmade crackers are delicious and since I love to cook, it's easy for me to make them. In fact, I love making our crackers, so we always have incredibly delicious, varied crackers on hand. I alter the recipes by putting in different cheese and herbs and we enjoy them a great deal. They are also healthy because I only use natural oils inside them and use as much whole grains as possible. I ordered some really nice cracker tins online and will be placing the birthday party favors in them so that they can take them home conveniently and have a useful tin for future snacks or goodies.
