birthday ideas


My husband celebrates his birthday at the end of October. He was not born on Halloween but close enough to make him what we call "a Halloween baby!" I always like to do something out of the ordinary for his special day. This year I am having a problem coming up with birthday ideas. Can you help me? 

Let me tell about some of the birthday ideas and celebrations we have had in the past. My husband is always up for a road trip. One year I rented a convertible Mustang and off we went. I made no hotel reservations. We just hit the road with an inkling of destinations but kept it open. As far as birthday ideas go it was one of the best! 

Another year, we did a train ride through scenic country. This birthday idea proved to be a hit as well! It was pretty funny when the train got "held up" and my husband was "captured." This was followed by his being handcuffed, pulled to the front of the train car and brutally embarrassed with everyone singing "happy birthday." You should have been there!

So, what kind of birthday ideas can I consider for this year...??
