I have been shopping online for a long time to save cash and find stuff nowhere to be found in local stores but I notice the older generation feel so so about putting their credit or debit cards in ecommerce store checkout pages. The other day I went online for birthday party favors for a friend who has his 25th coming up on Thanksgiving. It is pretty weird we will be getting together for Turkey Day not only to feast but also to ring in his birthday. I got some standard balloons, party decorations and a “Happy 25th Birthday” banner. I spent something under twenty dollars for everything.
Again I was amazed at home much farther a buck goes online especially with party decorations. My buddy is pretty lucky to be getting presents, birthday party favors and a Thanksgiving feast on the same day come November 26th. For people wary about shopping online, all I can say is try it. Like someone afraid of heights and going skydiving to beat the fear, shopping online and realizing nothing past getting a great deal happens will make it easier and easier to do. Come the holidays, getting more gifts for less is easiest online.
