party decorations, birthday themesHave you ever been to a party that was lacking any kind of decorations?   It kind of makes the party seem rather boring as compared to a home that's got party decorations hung throughout the home!

I've taken crepe paper rolls and twisted them, then draped them across the room in a crisscross pattern.  I've also taken crepe paper and hung several strips from the ceiling fan and turned it on low; these are just some of the party decorations that I've come up with. 

Party decorations should fit the age of the individual.  You can use many bright colors regardless of what age the individual is; it really helps bright up any party! 

When holding a birthday party for a person who's over fifty years old, I try to think about their feelings and stay away from over the hill jokes or black balloons as part of the birthday themes.

I try to plan the birthday themes around whatever kind of piñata I choose.  I always fill the huge piñata with all kinds of candy treats, as part of the part of the party decorations.
