birthday ideasI know how hard it can be to come up with birthday ideas for our loved ones that are in care center environment.  The rules and regulations can be strict in care centers, so I'd suggest running your birthday ideas by the staff to make sure that they have no objections.

Sometimes birthday ideas include some beautiful flowers, but cut flowers quickly die and that can be a harsh reminder of where they are in their lives.  I would highly recommend getting them a nice live green plant and add some brightly colored silk flowers to cheer them up! 

One of my favorite birthday ideas for women in care centers include a make up party.  You don't realize how much these people long for the human touch, so applying makeup can really help them feel loved and beautiful; maybe some cute Mylar balloons with flowers may also brighten up their day.

There are many great birthday ideas for guys as well.  Maybe they loved playing cards as a younger man, so break out the playing card and enjoy a good game of rummy!  Some other birthday ideas could include pampering them like a day at the spa, bring in some oil and give their feet a massage! 

Make sure your birthday ideas include a special treat for them, perhaps you could make them some homemade cookies to brighten up their special day, if they're allowed to have sugar if not make them sugar free!
