birthday ideas, birthday party favors My roommate, Jo is having a birthday today and I am still spinning the wheels to come up with some birthday ideas. Being a Wednesday, in the middle of the work week, I have been trying to think of something that won’t leave him dazed and confused when he steps into the office at 7am tomorrow. I got to thinking about his interests and movies immediately popped in my head. There was one night when Jo and I sat down and watched the entire season 2 of Curb Your Enthusiasm in one fail swoop. By the end of it, I was thinking like Larry David. Our favorite episode was the “Stop and Chat” where Larry runs into a restaurant owner acquaintance on the street who wants to talk. Larry blows him by with a quick hello, which pisses the restaurant owner off who is rude to him the next time Larry and his wife come in to eat. Larry then goes into a rant about how annoying the stop and chat is. You gotta see it.

I just realized Transformers 2 is out today and we both were into the first one so I guess the list of birthday ideas I was jotting down was for not because scoring some tickets on opening night is going to be a feat in itself. A neighbor is coming to set up birthday party favors and balloon party decorations for him when were gone so I think it is going to work out great.
