Birthday Ideas
Sometimes it is hard to come up with birthday ideas. It seems everyone is doing the latest craze and you want your child's birthday party to stand out, to be different, so that he or she will have memories of that special time.
My daughter wanted to do Hannah Montana. I let her but put a different spin on it. For instance, Hannah Montana is a singer alias for Miley's other character on the show, right? I had the kids do a little Hannah Montana karaoke party. Then presented each child with a gift bag of goodies after the end of his or her performance. Bringing new birthday ideas to the central core of what the theme was made the party unique and original even if it was the tenth Hannah party of the year.
My son is a die-hard baseball fan. I put a spin on sports birthday ideas and had the kids play a game of baseball then offered up party bags for all the players. I let them all take part in an activity that is related to what the party theme is and what my son loves most. Both birthday ideas were a hit.
