party decorations
It's been far too long since I planned a big party, the kind where someone had to go out and buy party decorations for it. In my early 20s, I was part of a singles group through church and was on the social planning committee. There were plenty of times where I had to run around gathering and buying, party decorations.

Despite all the running around though, getting together on the day of the party with my friends as we pooled our party decorations together and began to set up was fun. We had a good mix of personalities but over all, we were all a fun loving bunch of people, so it wasn't surprising to hear that we often clowned around while decorating for the party and still got everything done on time. I miss those days, and I miss some of the parties we had back then. I don't really have any place to have a party like those old days, now but when I move I want to have a party like that. I know my current cropping of friends will enjoy the party as much as we did back in the day.
